Reasonableness

These thoughts I’ve strung

They have no meaning for some

Why are they in this random order?

Some say, “Put them in order!”

What order?!

Whose order?

Sensibleness’?

Follow-able-ness’?

Reasonableness’?

Why, that’s no fun

Sometimes the order of occurrence

Shows you something new

What do you notice

In the confusion,

Perplexion,

Stewing?

There’s a new angle

A new take

Vantage point

Disturbed

But then again—

Maybe for some

This is all predictable

Boring

Nonsense

Mystery is only for some

The some that want to see

We need eyes to see

The facade

Of “plain”

“Normal”

“Shallow”

“Empty”

Or “boring”

The next time you’re bored

Take another look

What is deeper,

Beneath the surface,

Begging to be noticed?

Does it capture your attention?

Give you a new thought?

Produce an organic

Feeling?

Even a disturbance

Counts

Don’t pass it by…

Maybe boredom is a clue

That our thinking

Is becoming

Shallow

The world is our oyster!

Find beauty

Complexity

Or curiosity

In the ordinary

I dare you.
