More Love

More love
It’s just that
We need more

Could it be just that?
Just that simple?

More love to cover shame
More love to caste judgment away
More love to soothe self-hatred
Stopping you from living your dream
More love to bring us together
More love to wait patiently
More love to stay
Unassuming
Of wrong
To bear with
To uphold
To show up
Again
More love to keep praying
Keep caring
Keep hoping
Keep dreaming
We just need more love

But what?
Who?
Where?
How?

It’s infused
It’s a gift
It can’t be controlled
Manipulated

Just craved
Asked for
Waited upon

Then it comes
At long last—

The more is here
It satiates
Reminds you that you’re okay

Then we’re onto the next

Desire
Hope
Pleasure seeking thrill

Then we wind up
Finding out
That we’re onto another deep
Discovery…

It’s:
We need more.

We still need more

It’s just love

What is love?

That’s where we start
It’s where we end

We just need more—

Open up
Wait
Fill up

Find it
Seek it
Taste it

And then you’ll find out
You can finally relax
It’s safe

Safe to assume
You just need more
