Wipe it away

Forget it

Easier said than done…

We wipe

We forget

We watch water under 

The bridges of our lives

White knucking

Trying 

Striving

To let go

But there is a different kind of forgetting…

The one we don’t work

Or toil for

It comes

When He designs

There is miraculous forgetting 

All the sudden,

Just because He says,

Because He’s good,

Something is no more.

As if it never existed

Before.

When He says He’ll 

Wipe away every tear

He means it

No longer exists

Holy Forgetfulness

Wholly forgetting

Forever 

And we’re free to sing again

May we sing even when 

We remember

Thank you, God for the 

Miracle of letting go

That your Holy Spirit

Does for us,

On our behalf

May we experience it

Know it

Believe it

Bank on it

Sometimes, You make 

Things easy

You conquer evil for us

So we don’t have to 

Fight

You wipe away trauma

Forever

There aren’t triggers anymore

You forgive

Fully

Then 

It is finished. 

May we hold on

Until You

Wipe it all away
