Thrusting forward into action…

But to where?

For what?

From what place?

To achieve 

What end?

Many are the plans in a man’s heart but the Lord’s purpose prevails (Proverbs 19:21).

A man plans his course but the Lord determines his steps (Proverbs 16:9).

Where are we going?

Whether we know it or not,

Whether it goes unacknowledged—

We are in the Maker’s hands.

We can go down this road with

Kicking & screaming,

With tantrums galore,

Discontent

Disappointment

Failed expectations

Regret

Or we can  

Go ahead

And get on board—

With The Maker’s 

Inevitable plan.

Float on 

That lazy river 

That’s flowing

All the way

To the ocean already…

Or we can fight the tide–

The choice is ours.
